Found out about this comic from it winning a 2025 Cartoonist's Coop Mini-Comic award, finally got around to checking it out today.
Really really thoughtful drawing/cartooning here. There's so much intention in every pore of this comic, from where to use line vs wash, to the shot choices, to the page structures. This is real comics craftsmanship- the images speak, in their own way, to communicate things words cannot say.

I had chills. This was beautiful. I will be thinking about this comic for a very long time.
Loved the limited color palette, and all of the texture in the line work and the ink washes!! The pacing of the pages + the rhythm of the poem are perfect, I got chills at the end.
